PTSA Trials (5-15 Year Olds)

Please note, most trials are held on a Sunday, at theMarket Road Football Pitches, Market Road, Islington, London, N7 9PL.  

If you are asked to attend at another location, you will be informed by a member of staff before your trial date.

We have two trial start times; 8:30 and 10:00.

Under; 5-6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s, 12s MUST arrive at 8:30am.

Under; 13s, 14s 15s & 16s MUST arrive at 10:00am. 

All PTSA trial and training sessions for 5-15 year olds lasts for 90 minutes.

The complimentary trial training top is made from 100% Polyester.

(Please note, all new players will be given the top on their first trial day. This top must be worn at all trial sessions. Please be aware that the complimentary trial top is subject to availability. If your child is not given a top they may be offered a complimentary draw string bag and loaned a training bib to wear during each trial session.)

Please check your email (junk mail included) for your booking confirmation email.

Please only book a PTSA trial if you are definately planning on attending on the day you have booked.

If for any reason you cannot attend your trial for the day you have booked, you can easily reschedule or cancel at any time. Please send an email to 'trials@protouchsa.co.uk' to inform us. Please ensure you provide us with; your booking name, the email used to make the booking. A member of staff will contact you via email about rescheduling or providing you with a refund. You will only receive a full refund if you decide to cancel your trial, provided that you have not attended any of the 3 sessions.

If you have attended 1 or 2 out of 3 of the sessions and decide you do not want to continue, you do not have to return. Please note, you will not be refunded and we will not ask for the complimentary top back. 

If you become unwell and are unable to attend your trial session, or need to take time out after your first trial session for extenuating circumstances (i.e. illness or bereavement), please send an email to trials@protouchsa.co.uk. We will reschedule the trial session you are unable to attend. If you have already attended your first trial session and can no longer attend your remaining trial sessions, you will not be refunded and your are not required to return the complimentary trial training top.

All players on trial are expected to come with; football shorts, football socks, shin pads, football boots and a bottle of water. Failure to come with these items may result in your trial being rescheduled.

On some occasions, a coach may extend the trial sessions. They may ask you to come to other training sessions held during the week, or ask you to attend a few more Sunday sessions. (But please note, this is at the discretion of the coach and no extra payment is required during the trial stage.) 

We do not have 1 to 1 trial sessions, your child will be expected to participate with other members of the academy.
